Programme Delivery Manager (Associate Director ),Surrey, £85k+package+bonus
My client are a leading Asset Management house, renowned for strong financial performance and a business strategy that’s driven by investment in technology and research.
Currently they are looking for an IT change programme delivery manager to deliver a range of both strategic in house platforms and also 3rd party applications in what is a fast paced and exciting technical/business area.
Projects will vary between 1 and 5 million dollars and you will be responsible for portfolio management and programme delivery, reporting directly to the Head of Project Management. Additionally you will have direct line responsibility for a talented group of project managers and business analysts.
This person will be technically minded with a strong detailed approach who is also comfortable at the higher portfolio level facing off directly off to the business.
Requirements:
• Strong IT change delivery experience gained in an asset management or investment bank
• Experience of project/programme management
• Experience of managing budgets between 1 and 5 million dollars
• Knowledge and experience in managing development support activities for investment services and/or fund accounting functions.
• Experience of pensions and funds
• Exposure/Implementation experience of products such as TCS - BaNCS, SunGard - Invest 1
• A good understanding of the overall investment process and its data needs of a buy-side investment firm
• Knowledge of standard market data products from providers like Bloomberg, Reuters etc
