Programme Director

A global blue-chip is currently recruiting for a Programme Manager to deliver a programme that is focussed on identifying and delivering sustainable cost savings across the business. The role sat within the cost transformation team, will be heading up the service desk migration project across the group. This role is business critical and will be an excellent opportunity to perform a highly visible and gain exposure to senior stakeholders.

The programme director will be managing a team of up to 50 full time employee through the end-to-end lifecycle of the project. You will be responsible for the leading the management and execution of large scale transformational change and responsibility for the realisation of varied business benefits coupled with the translation of cost transformation recommendations into an a programme of work to deliver the recommendations, including a work breakdown structure and a governed portfolio of projects. You will also Co-development with cost transformation analysts of high quality, deliverable, recommendations.

To be successful in this role you will have formal Programme and project management experience on global, complex projects, experience in the delivery of IT transformational change programme, Strong, demonstrable, financial intelligence and experience identifying and delivering sustainable cost savings across a complex business environment. You will have excellent communication skills and proven ability to build and maintain long term stakeholder support on all programmes to look for opportunities to make savings, but also ensuring that the right decisions are made operationally.
