My client - a major wealth manager with a global footprint - is seeking an experienced programme director to assume control of a large scale platform migration.
The programme exists to deliver the implementation of a single banking software solution to all group businesses, who are currently using a range of legacy systems. The definition phase of the programme has been completed, and the successful candidate will join and lead the existing project team, delivering the solution through to completion and delivery.
The migration of data from the various legacy systems is expected to be a significant challenge, and my client is seeking a candidate with very strong data migration experience (ideally gained running a similar programme), who can control and manage the migration issue as one element - whilst at the same time driving and steering the programme as a whole.
The ideal candidate will be a proven project and change professional, who has director level programme experience within a financial services environment - ideally a wealth management business. Clear and accurate stakeholder management and reporting at a very senior level will be an important skill, and the successful candidate will manage both the business and technology streams, ensuring the programme plan is fully understood by all parties, and all milestones are fully achieved.
This contract role is expected to last for 12 months, and an immediate start is available.
