Programme Lead

Main Objective:
Responsible for the delivery and control of BCBS 239 programme deliverables. Manage the programme of work across Risk Business Units, Finance, Treasury, Risk Technology and DSI. Responsible for overseeing the risk contribution to BCBS 239 across the business units and for managing key projects/programmes to deliver principle gaps and business requirements in partnership with Technology and Business groups. Responsible for developing and managing a robust and transparent end to end BCBS 239 Programme delivery plan and compliance roadmap with the BCBS 239 Principles on risk data aggregation and reporting.

Key Accountabilities

Programme Management
Responsible in managing the delivery of multiple projects across the above groups.
Design the structure of the Risk Programme delivery operating model.
Ensure co-ordination Group-wide, specifically ensuring that the Risk programme of work is in lockstep with related programmes and initiatives in Risk, Finance, Treasury, Risk Technology and DSI
Produce regular communications with delivery leads and business changes agents
Assist with the preparation of regular briefing materials for senior executives
Work with the design function and the PMO office to ensure delivery against design principles in line with PMO reporting.
Review and monitor project progress (cost, resourcing, L0/L1 milestones, scope, risks, issues) for each project within the scope of the BCBS 239 Programme;
Drive action to manage and resolve issues and close risks related to the projects;
Escalate issues that require further attention to the BCBS 239 Business Board and Steering Committee where appropriate
Ensure a consistent reporting approach and standards are taken across all projects;
Ensure internal dependencies between BCBS 239 projects are clearly understood, documented, agreed and tracked;
Ensure external dependencies with Risk, Finance and Treasury programmes (“in-flights”) are clearly understood, documented, agreed and tracked;
Develop strong partnerships across all Delivery leads in the delivery of the BCBS 239 Programme
Develop a strong governance model across all Delivery leads
Stakeholder management
Ability to effectively communicate and work with a wide range of stakeholders including Risk, Finance, Treasury, Risk Technology and DSI executives
Manage and co-ordinate workstreams to ensure they collaboratively deliver those specific activities in the right timescale
Ensure stakeholders fully understand and are committed to the project
Manage stakeholder engagement and report key issues, concepts and activities from other workstreams to stakeholders
