Programme Manager – Capital Markets Counterparty Credit Risk recruitment

Our specialist teams are actively supporting Basel 3 Counterparty Credit Risk implementation for several major firms in the advanced stages of development and rollout planning.  As a result of recent new client engagements, we are now seeking to expand and strengthen our service delivery teams across both change planning and execution.

As a Principal Consultant or Senior Manager you will work with our clients to define specific changes needed as a result of CRD4 revisions, and help ensure a smooth transition of revised systems and operational processes into the business.

Experience and Background

• 10 years+ Programme / Senior Project Management of large complex business and systems change within Tier 1/2 Capital Markets firms

• Track record of delivery execution and measurable business outcomes using variety of methodologies (eg. Waterfall, RUP, Agile/Scrum)

• Successful control of budgets £10m+ p.a.

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Market Counterparty Credit Risk methodologies, and related Risk, Front-Office and Finance stakeholder requirements

• Previously undertaken key roles in Basel 2 or similar regulatory compliance programmes

• Demonstrated effective use of variety of delivery models, including internal staff, off-shore and 3rd party resources and matrix delivery

• Previous consultancy experience an advantage

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree qualified - minimum 2:1 or equivalent

• Programme / Project Management certification (MSP / Prince2 / MoR)

• Pro-active and structured approach to managing delivery risk

• Consultancy grade project and stakeholder communication skills

• First class problem-solving, collaboration, negotiation and people management skills

• Confident and relaxed presentation manner

• Relevant post-graduate financial / quantitative / MBA qualification an advantage
