Programme Manager – Change Management recruitment
Role Reports to:
Matrix reporting to Head of Change / Change Lead
Division: Wealth Management.
Successful candidate wil be hired for 6 months with high potential to conversion to perm
Scope of project work is still being defined, and may include design and implementation of a global pricing model for credit products which takes into account the value of the whole client relationship, plus further advances in Loan-to-value agreements against different and more exotic / target growth market-based assets.
The project will require an experienced project manager:
- Who has experience of credit products in the international environment; leveraging and Lombard lending
- Who can work effectively from idea development to approval and through to implementation stage
Role Purpose: This summarises the overall purpose of the role – how it adds value
- Lead global project teams of up to 15 change professionals, comprising permanent and contractor resources that deliver key functional/divisional strategy components.
- Responsible for managing the relationship with a variety of senior stakeholders across the Division and wider Group, liaising directly with executive project sponsors of the programmes / projects they are leading.
- Accountable for managing the end to end project life cycle of at least 2 of the Divisions larger change programmes with combined investment spend up to c£15-20m.
- Ensure projects are managed and delivered against client expectations; .
- Apply Group and Wealth Change methodologies consistently and effectively, ensuring appropriate frameworks, standards and governance are applied at all times.
- Accountable for managing all risks and issues across the delivery of global projects,
- Ambassador for continuous improvement and lean, actively seeking out and recommending opportunities to apply CI / lean techniques to improve customer experience or efficiency, and then implementing through the project.
- As part of the senior change community, responsibility for building project teams of highly motivated staff with appropriate levels of technical and management skills and experience
- Responsible for coaching talent, actively seeking out development opportunities across regions/functions for staff and helping create a dynamic and agile global resource pool.
- Act in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
Professional Qualifications Requirements:
• Relevant Change or Project Management qualifications expected
Other Technical Skills, Knowledge or Experience:
- Proven track record of delivering complex change and application of Programme Management methodologies and full programme lifecycle including documentation standards, risk modelling, change controls, quality frameworks and compliance.
- Proven track record in leading, developing and delivering a number of global change projects in parallel.
- Proven ability to act as a pro-active force behind the optimisation of the business strategy business operating model and the maximisation of the client experience.
- Strong Business Consulting skills (e.g. communication, facilitation, presentation and process modelling)
- Detailed and practical knowledge of Change leadership and its application (preferable but in a Wealth Management or Investment Banking environment)
- Experience of interacting at Exco level and influencing senior management on a day-to-day basis.
- Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organisation.
- Clear, high impact, concise communication to a senior management audience and occasionally Executive (written and verbal), to influence and gain support for proposals
