Programme manager - financial services, electronic trading, methodology, CMMI, PMI, PRINCE2, PMBOK
Programme manager required to join a top global brokerage to run a programme of technology projects with a strong emphasis on methodology and governance. This is a new position and my client is looking for a suitable candidate asap to set up a roadmap for current and futures projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your past financial services programme management experience in a role that will allow you to impact the way that projects are delivered at this high-profile financial brokerage.
Your role will include the following:
* Reporting directly to the CIO
* Establish a plan for delivering technology programmes/projects regarding process, tools, technology, organisation and governance.
* Implement a project lifecycle for major and minor projects
* Implement your methodology via training, coaching and influencing skills
* Build and maintain a roadmap going forward
* Manage a group of project managers and business technology managers
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:
ü Experience/certification in CMMI, PRINCE2, PMI, PMBOK
ü Financial technology programme management experience
ü Experience working with outsource suppliers
ü Good knowledge of banking/broking processes such as trading, back office and STP etc
ü Excellent written and verbal communication skills
