Programme Manager/ Director -Product Control Change recruitment

This role is for a Programme Manager to lead the Finance workstream. The Finance components represent a significant portion of the whole programme and includes the remit to operate front to back as appropriate. Key features of the role include:

• Define and build Finance end to end delivery plan

• Oversee and ensure appropriate delivery of key artefacts including Business and Functional Requirements, Migration Strategy, Target Operating Model and target business process. Work closely with Technology to ensure there is a systems architecture design in place to meet these requirements

• Deliver against programme scope to an agreed timeframe. Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure the programme is delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks, making adjustments as necessary.

• Manage programme-wide communication

• Interact with key stakeholders, forming and maintaining cross functional stakeholder relationships

•  Manage the relationship with BUC Finance IT, Front Office IT, and other key input and output areas

• Lead a sustainable programme delivery team, comprising Change, Line and Technology resources.

• Where required, build capability with appropriate change and subject matter expertise that can meet our organisational needs and priorities.

• Ensure the integrity of Finance processes architecture whilst executing all projects

• Provide thought leadership in defining and delivering Finance strategy and Target Operating Model

• Constructively challenge approaches, processes and attitudes where this will result in improvement or value to the desired business outcomes

• Manage programme governance, PMO function, budgeting, forecasting

• Responsible for all delivery plans, resources and budgets

• Conflict management

In order to be considered you will have operated at a Programme Manager level for major Product Control Change programmes.

As a minimum you will be required to have:

• Qualified as an accountant.

• Run, as VP or Director, large Product Control Departments ideally in Equities

• Demonstrable experience of the full project lifecycle, including managing MD level stakeholders, to deliever strategic change across Product Control.
