Programme Manager / Insurance / £90k / London / Guidewire

My client, a global insurance giant are currently looking for a Programme Manager with experience of delivering Claims Transformation projects within Insurance domain. Leading delivery you will be responsible for critical and complex phase of their ongoing transformation programme.

Key responsibilities and skills include..

*Day to day leadership of the IT delivery team
*Responsible for managing relationship with a number of programme suppliers including offshore testing, software vendors etc.
*Drive progress across the programme; create and maintain a culture of on-time, high-quality delivery.
*Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure the programme is appropriately connected to other parts of the business (eg Service Management; Infrastructure etc)
*Accountable for implementing and promoting strong governance throughout the programme: Ensure the programme and individual projects are planned, controlled and monitored in accordance with the company's methods and policies and ensure that effective project management processes (including contingency plans) are followed.
*Assure the quality of projects within the programme, adhering to agreed quality assurance standards
*Communicate progress in a timely way with stakeholders and the project team
*Accountable for the effective management of change to requirements and deliverables; the maintenance of a robust change management approach; rigorous scope control against agreed priorities.
*Escalate to the Senior Management Leadership Team where necessary and to the Project Sponsor (providing evaluated recommendations for any changes required to the project), such that projects are completed to time, cost and quality

*Very strong stakeholder management skills, confidence in forging relationships with senior stakeholders in many different departments.
*Excellent inter-personal skills and strong documentation skills.
