Programme Manager, IT, Portfolio, Investment Bank

One of our International Investment Banking clients is currently looking to hire a senior level IT Programme Manager as they embark upon a large global expansion programme. The company is currently expanding their Investment Banking arm to support the Corporate banking business and extend internationally.

From day one the priority will be the expansion into the USA by replacing the current local outsourced operation. This will then be used as the foundation strategy for all country rollouts. You will be managing a team both on and off shore with budgets in excess of £3m+ whilst liaising with IT and Business Change teams.

The right person for this job will have experience managing teams of BA’s, PM’s, PMO’s and testers and delivered projects on a global scale. You will also be familiar with MS Projects, tracking of risks and issues and maintaining SharePoint sites. Excellent communication skills are essential and experience of working in an Investment Bank would be extremely beneficial.

Essential:

- Must have a proven experience and track record of successfully running large programmes
- Must have a proven experience and track record of successfully running a portfolio of projects
- Defining and shaping individual projects within an overall Corporate driven change portfolio
- Defining and executing governance structures
- Updating/maintaining project status reports
- Updating/maintaining project portfolio status reports and publishing to sponsors and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholder
