Programme Manager – Market Risk – Investment Bank recruitment
My Client, a investment bank, are currently seeking a Programme manager with expertise in Market risk. This role will involve Assuming full ownership of a portfolio of projects taking accountability and responsibility for realising the business benefits. Establishing and maintaining Project Plans and contributing to all Status reporting requirements. Ensuring resourcing across teams is organised in time to achieve the delivery schedule. Attending appropriate project governance forums to represent the project. Organising and holding relevant project meetings to maintain co-ordination between groups. Identifying Dependencies, Risks, Issues and implement mitigating steps to minimise their impacts on plans
Requirements:
Strong Market Risk knowledge
Have practical programme management experience developed through managing a number of sizeable projects through from initiation through to delivery. Team sizes of 15+ people and budgets in excess of $1m.
Have strong experience of managing system development projects across a distributed systems infrastructure
Be accustomed to working to deadlines to realise the business benefits associated with IT projects as early as possible
Be fully conversant with a range of systems development methodologies and the advantages/disadvantages of each
