Programme Manager, Project Manager,  FX Derivatives

The project implementations will be to improve current derivatives exchange traded / the OTC product suite and operation. You'll also be tasked to introduce an in-house FX Margin Trading platform.

The projects require an experienced project manager:

Experience of FX margin trading product and implementation, including business model design, approval and implementation as well as 3rd party and in-house IT system implementation an interfacing (preferably in context of FX margin trading).

We require someone who has experience of implementing new and enhancing existing derivatives products, both from a business product governance approval an IT system enhancement perspective

We also require the ability to be a strong driver of the virtual and matrix project team around them across organisational and international boundaries

Role:

• Lead global project teams of up to 15 change professionals, comprising permanent and contractor resources that deliver key functional/divisional strategy components.

• Responsible for managing the relationship with a variety of senior stakeholders across the Division and wider Group, liaising directly with executive project sponsors of the programmes / projects they are leading.

• Ensure projects are managed and delivered against client expectations; including timely delivery, achieving stated deliverables and realisation of target benefits.

• Excellence in execution through a deep understanding of the Wealth strategy and the core markets and segments.

• Provide robust but pragmatic guidance to the business on business cases and governance and actively seeking to simplify complexity for the business.

• Accountable for managing all risks and issues across the delivery of global projects, ensuring transparent identification, escalation and resolution.

• Ambassador for continuous improvement and lean, actively seeking out and recommending opportunities to apply CI / lean techniques to improve customer experience or efficiency, and then implementing through the project.

• As part of the senior change community, responsibility for building project teams of highly motivated staff with appropriate levels of technical and management skills and experience

• Responsible for coaching talent, actively seeking out development opportunities across regions/functions for staff and helping create a dynamic and agile global resource pool.

Technical Skills Knowledge:

• Proven track record of delivering complex change and application of Programme Management methodologies and full programme lifecycle including documentation standards, risk modelling, change controls, quality frameworks and compliance.

• Proven ability to act as a pro-active force behind the optimisation of the business strategy business operating model and the maximisation of the client experience.

• Strong Business Consulting skills (e.g. communication, facilitation, presentation and process modelling)

• Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organisation.
