Programme Manager – Strategy and Large Scale Programme Delivery – Global Multinational Firm – Hong Kong recruitment
The Information Management Department of a major multinational firm is now building a world class Portfolio Management team to service multiple business lines. This Programme Manager will have an excellent opportunity to work as a Portfolio Lead at the forefront of strategic and IT investment project management. The Programme Manager will have a lead role in the identification and analysis as well as execution of a portfolio of IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior pre-project consulting for the Project Portfolio Management process
- Conduct feasibility studies, process reviews, project impact analysis
- Work on identifying project crossover between departments to minimise cost
- Draw out high-level business requirements and document gaps whilst providing potential solutions
- Identify process reengineering opportunities
- Manage multiple, dynamic relationships to drive initiatives and developments across various departments
- Provide coaching to portfolio analysts and promote knowledge collaboration
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in IT, Business or related area
- Possess 10 years experience in IT with at least 7 years delivery business related IT projects
- Strong background in either programme management, change management, project management or business analysis but with excellent grasp of project analysis
- You should have proven extensive client facing skills both internally and externally
- Understanding of business processes, portfolio management, analysis or modelling
- Have a strong analytical mind with excellent relationship management and communication management skills to drive change
- A consulting background would be advantageous
