Summary:
This role will take overall responsibility for the management and end-to-end implementation of several large high profile clients.
The programme manager will be responsible for the interface with the client at a senior level and for aligning the priorities of the Business Partners to ensure that there is a clear and accurate plan, that priorities are established, that interdependencies are known, understood and managed, that project management rigour and governance is in place across all workstreams and that ultimately these multi-discipline projects are delivered on time.
Job Background/context:
Over the past 6+ years our client has seen considerable growth. Specifically, the Asset Servicing client base has expanded dramatically, as a result of a series of accretive outsourcing transactions as well as organic growth.
This role arises from the need to support a number of large client outsourcing agreements.
In this role you will work with Coverage, Product Management, Sales, Client Delivery, Operations and Technology, as well as other internal partners and third parties, to ensure thorough programme, process and project execution on client deals, including outsourcing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create the governance model required to manage, oversee and coordinate large /cross-functional /outsourcing deals, from a deal and implementation perspective; overseeing all functional areas involved in the deal and the implementation process.
- Act as primary interface with the client (from contract negotiations and initial closing, through implementation, delivery and ongoing change control).
- Own and manage the individual and combined implementation plans, providing issue tracking, resolution and escalation of critical issues and risks to plan.
- Create metrics, reporting and status reports to report progress against project objectives and milestones. Understand dependencies and pre-empt and address conflicts and constraints before they impact the critical path
- Responsible for project communication, presenting updates to the Steering Committee with all cross-functional teams.
- Establish and manage the change management and control process to track all changes in project scope during the implementation as well as any additional /ongoing requirements post-implementation.
- Carry out post-implementation reviews and incorporate the lessons learned into the Project management and Governance model.
Qualifications
- This position requires an individual with a proven record of delivering multi-functional programmes (8+ Years).
- Leadership experience within a business environment.
- Ability to interact with credibility and impact at senior levels internally and with our largest clients.
