Programme Office Manager / PMO – Software Development Projects – Tier 1 Uk Investment Bank – £73k recruitment

Experienced Programme Office Manager / PMO, with excellent knowledge of the software lifecycle, required by internationally acclaimed Investment Bank based in the Docklands. This company is renowned for its’ excellent range of financial instruments and the number of their institutional clients

My client has a requirement for a Programme Office Manager / Senior PMO to join their Programme Office who are playing a key roll in managing the PMO for multiple software workstreams

Core competencies required

• Excellent experience as a Programme Office Manager / Senior PMO within an investment bank (essential)
• Excellent knowledge of the Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) preferably from either a developer or development manager background
• PRINCE 2 Practitioner
• Strong communication skills
• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification

This role will involve the candidate filling a vital role within the Programme Office and the candidate will be integral to the successful completion of a number of mission critical projects for the investment bank. The programme office manager will be expected to report to Senior executives within the bank, from both the IT and Business side, and will need to be an effective communicator to both side’s of the business.

This role is ideal for a candidate with excellent Programme Office Manager, PMO, experience, from either a developer or development manager background, with strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle

This role carries a salary between £65 - 73k and excellent package that you would expect from one of the leading lights in investment banking within the UK
