Programme Test Manager recruitment
Main Duties
Core to the success of the programme is the ability to test both the data supplied by upstream systems and the core market risk functionality. The test roles involve building and maintaining a repository of test cases that cover the depth and breadth of the Jupiter functionality.
Testing team members will work closely with the rest of the Jupiter project teams to ensure that the quality of the functionality delivered meets the required specification. Close interaction with Risk Management and Market Risk Operations is essential as the test cases and results reviews will be part of the sign-off process for any implementation of functionality.
For the team lead role, the successful candidate will manage the day-to-day running of testing, including the production of management reports used to track progress.
Main Function
The remit of Global Financial Risk Management is to identify, measure, monitor, control and challenge the risk exposures of the bank across all asset classes. The Department is organised into Risk Management and Risk Infrastructure. Risk Management provide the control and challenge function to the front office. Risk Infrastructure provides support to Risk Management via two teams - Market Risk Operations and Market Risk Projects.
The Market Risk Projects team manage Build the Bank initiatives; Jupiter is currently the largest change programme whose goal is to create the next generation Market Risk solution for the firm by providing a state-of-the-art consolidated risk management solution across all asset classes.
Qualifications, knowledge experience:
Extensive test management experience within Capital Markets
Extensive knowledge of test tools and test automation
Extensive experience in the testing of feed on-boarding from up-stream systems
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand the scope of the projects and lead the testing team in the definition of appropriate test approaches
Proven skills in dealing with detailed and broad-ranging issues which are time-bound
Desirable - good Market Risk domain knowledge

Person Requirements
Manage the production of all test plans/approaches for UAT
Explain the results of the UAT to Risk Managers and Market Risk production to ensure sign-off is achieved in a timely fashion
Maintain, manage and escalate where necessary all the detailed issues arising during the testing process
Influence the structure of the IT testing activity to ensure end-to-end testing requirements have been met
Build and up-skill the UAT testing team
Manage the resolution of faults, retesting all aspects of the systems and processes appropriately
Provide formal status and metrics reporting as required
Develop plans for inclusion at Project and Programme level, tracking key milestones and dependencies
