Programme Test Manager - Tier 1 Consultancy - £90k
One of the most renowned names in Global Consultancy is looking for a strong Programme Test Manager with a good track record of hands-on programme delivery in Testing across multiple projects with a good mix of experience across all stages of the lifecycle and solid experience of managing the testing of complex changes to Banking/Payments systems
Amongst other responsiblities, you will:
- Ensure all testing issues and risks are identified and managed considering planning and delivery of both functional and non-functional aspects
- Undertake test estimating, planning tracking, monitoring and reporting for the delivery of a test plan against the overall project plan.
- Ensure that quality gate procedures are pragmatically but effectively applied particularly in situations where there may be multiple suppliers using different delivery approaches within a programme
- Ensure that test deliverables comply with the appropriate standards and test methodologies and that suitable assurance activities take place to evidence this.
- Determine project resource requirements.
The suitable Programme Test Manager will be highly credibile in his technical, business and personal attributes. You will ideally be ISEB/ISTQB qualified and able to articulate business and technical issues related to Testing with extensive Knowledge on a number of key technologies and tools and their role within the test sector e.g. HP QualityCentre, Quick Test Pro and Loadrunner.
