Programmer – Andover Controls Job in Madison, Wisconsin Us
North American Mechanical, a Premier Mechanical Contractor located outside Madison WI seeks an Andover experienced Programmer to add to our Controls team. This position would support our customers by programming/scheduling of the Andover system to monitor and adjusting the HVAC and security systems within our company standards to create a comfortable secure environment. Programmers maybe required to respond to work on an "on call" basis for emergencies and work non-standard hours and flexible shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Andover systems to control and adjust an installed HVAC and security systems per customers’ needs.
- Monitors temperatures to standards and trouble shoot with field technicians any HVAC issues.
- Uses various energy systems. EMS systems include but are not limited to: Andover Continuum, Andover Infinity, BACnet systems
- Programmers are required to work extended hours during the peak of HVAC and security installations
- Travel requirement: - Travel may be required to receive specialized training
Requirements:
- Must have a working knowledge of Andover Systems and the ability to learn new systems as they are upgraded (requires specialized training on each system).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate. Proficient on the Microsoft Office Suite and/or similar programs.
- Demonstrates sense of urgency and excellent follow up skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Remains calm in emergency situations.
