Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as C++, visual basic, ABAP, JAVA, XTML, etc. Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. May build add-on modules using application program language.

Oracle Web Developer to provide technical support at COMOPTEVFOR Norfolk, VA to create, test, maintain, and administer an Oracle Enterprise Portal, develop Web surveys, and other programming utilizing open standards-based programming models. The Oracle Web Developer is responsible for all stages of custom web application development including requirements analysis, planning, coding and testing.

The Oracle Web Developer must independently utilize advanced knowledge of HTML, PL/SQL, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Java to develop dynamic, database driven Oracle applications and Web pages, and other open source tools. The Oracle Web Developer is expected to interact with end users as needed, develop documentation as needed, and explore the use of new technology supporting Web application development utilizing a cooperative, team oriented approach.

This position is contingent upon customer approval.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 9 years of experience.

Technical background in programming
Ability to obtain Secret clearance

Proficiency is required with the following applications:

Java using Oracle Application Development Framework, with faces.

Oracle JDeveloper

Oracle WebCenter 11g or Oracle portal

Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g WebLogic

Oracle PL/SQL

Oracle Business Intelligence (BI)

Oracle Databases 10g/11g

Preferred Qualifications: Mid level experience in programming tasks.
