Position Description

Provide programmer/analyst support to Value Chain Data (VCD), a data warehouse of commercial airplane bill of material data with associated part and assembly costs. Responsible for working with internal customer to define requirements, develop code, and test results in support of system enhancement plans. Also provide production operations support to monthly and quarterly data refresh processes. Strong database and SQL skills are required for the position with some past experience with data warehousing a must. Past ETL and data processing experience also a must. Experience with any of Teradata, DataStage, Mainframe (MVS), Cold Fusion and Cognos a plus.

Typical Education/Experience

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
