JOB SUMMARY 
PSC is pursuing a cloud-based strategy to revolutionize how it manages hazardous materials and industrial cleaning for its customers.  We're looking for fast learners who can eventually lead development of critical customer-facing business applications using leading edge platforms such as Force.com and mobile devices. You'll be building advanced web applications that incorporate key capabilities such as GPS, declarative rules and social media.  If you have skills with these areas already, that would be a great plus. We're willing to train you on these latest platforms provided you have the core related experience listed below.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement and deploy business applications for PSC's business needs and customers
• Write programs using PSC's state of the art, test-driven cloud computing platform
• Model data for required applications
• Participate in all aspects of project delivery using Agile development practices
• Work with users, to analyze and design database and application system solutions to solve business needs

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 years Java, Javascript, HTML, XML, Rule Processing, and Eclipse
• A strong plus if you already have JBoss-Drools and HTML5
• 2-3 years SQL database programming (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
• 2-3 years web application programming and design using an open source framework
• 1+ years writing applications using Web Services or REST APIs
• Familiarity with cloud computing, Salesforce.com, Adobe Flex, Ruby on Rails, and data migration strategies a plus
