Responsibilities:
Development and software maintenance on assigned applications. Implement automated application software solutions with minimal supervision. Interface with all relevant areas, including user departments as well as Information Technology. Analyze and design solutions necessary to solve business and technical problems.
Requirements:
3+ years experience working in a large IT environment supporting web and client server platforms interfacing with third party vendor application systems.
3+ years experience with relational databases and SQL Command Language.
Prior work experience with AIX/Unis or Linux, DB2, SQL, WebSphere MQ, Cobol/C/C++/Java is needed
Prior work experience with COBOL, CICS,JCL, DB2 for supporting mainframe application systems is a plus, but not required.
Prior work experience providing solutions for operational inefficiencies.
Prior experience working with third party vendor software applications.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Demonstrated successful project management and time management skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work well with multiple lines of businesses and other support areas.
