A recent expansion of headcount due to company growth at a heavily automated 24/7 manufacturing facility in Milwaukee has opened up opportunities for Programmer / Analysts to fill 2 contract to direct hire opportunities in the Milwaukee area. Please read the job description below:

Position Summary: The Programmer/Analyst is responsible for performing analysis, modification, and daily support of the Oracle E-Business Suite - R12, and other non-Oracle applications. They will work closely with information technology and business team members to understand business requirements and ensure that applications properly function to meet business needs across the organization. The successful candidate will consult with end users to identify current operation procedures, clarify program objectives, evaluate business requirements and provide innovative solutions in a fast paced team oriented environment.
BASIC FUNCTION With general supervision, reviews, analyzes, selects and modifies application systems including designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and installing to support an organization's business information systems. Evaluate business requirements and provide innovative solutions in a team atmosphere. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Participates in rotating schedule for 24-hour end user support

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other technical discipline
• Four years previous programmer/analyst experience in working with end users in requirements gathering, analysis, and application design in a client server and/or web based environment.
• Three years Oracle relational database design and support experience
• Two years experience with ERP systems
• Experience working with integrated systems in a manufacturing environment
• Software and hardware evaluation experience
• Microsoft Windows operating system experience and Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Two years experience with the following as defined by job assignment: JAVA, and PL/SQL Oracle or Microsoft development tools Oracle Discoverer Oracle and SQL-Server databases Linux
• Experience developing or supporting Business Intelligence and reporting in an Oracle E-business environment
• Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or other technical discipline
• Two years experience with ERP systems in an Oracle E-Business Environment

NOTE: There are 2 open positions. One requires all of the previous, plus:

• Three years EDI experience with a broad range of EDIFACT and/or X12 transaction types in a manufacturing environment
