Programmer / Developer
Our Practice Management team provides services to healthcare organizations throughout the United State improving the performance of physician group practices. For a defined period of time, we will assume the management of a practice, working closely with practice leadership to set specific operational and financial targets. We will work to improve overall performance, operational efficiency, and market position in order to provide our clients with improved profitability and shareholder income.
Navigant HealthAware is a market-leading technology solution that offers innovative services designed to drive more at-risk, vulnerable patients to a specific healthcare provider. The goal is to help clients to build long-standing relationships with new patients by providing appropriate and necessary care.
The Consultant – Programmer/Developer will contribute to the development of our Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) tracking software currently installed in over 100 health systems and hospitals across the country.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and development of application software
- Analyze requests for change, code and test new functionality
- Design and develop visual and functional specifications for client site adaptation
- Develop interactive web applications utilizing .Net, C# VB,ASP.Net, and AJAX
- Support acceptance tests and production tests
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to learn new applications and processes and be adaptive to related changes
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented and Agile software development
- Ability to lead integration, development and implementation projects with minimal supervision. This includes working effectively with third party vendors, consultants and internal clients
- Service oriented, Autonomous and good sense of responsibilities
- Quality oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Self-motivation with high level of enthusiasm
- Working knowledge of SQL Server databases and .Net, C# VB,ASP.Net, and AJAX
- Ability to effectively use Crystal Report writer or SSRS development preferred
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, is detailed oriented
- Demonstrates efficiency, initiative, and flexibility
Education Experience:
- College Degree or equivalent training required
- 1 – 5 years experience with C# Windows Forms and/or ASP.NET Development
Travel up to 25%
