The primary purpose of this position is responsible for modifying procedures to solve complex information systems problems, under general supervision.
Responsibilities include:
· Develops, tests and debugs new or modified code to verify its accuracy and completeness.
· Creates and modifies computer programs by converting project requirements into code.
· Develops, tests and debugs new or modified code to verify its accuracy and completeness.
· Develops an understanding of assigned application and internal customer area, standards and techniques, and general business knowledge.
· Writes or modifies the necessary code to affect approved requests for change.
· Demonstrates understanding of programming languages, technical tools, departmental procedures, and pertinent training material.
· Assists in training of end-users.
· Provides complete documentation of all code changes or additions as required for assigned project.
· Provides time estimates of assigned programming tasks and compare estimates to actual time spent in order to improve estimating accuracy.
· Suggests possible improvements in standards and procedures.
Requirements:
Education/Training/Experience/Licenses
· Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field.
· 2+ years of progressive experience performing computer programming with expertise in ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, JQuery, Ajax and relational database design using Microsoft SQL Server in a client/server environment.
· Problem solving, analytical, logic, interpersonal, and communication skills; must be a team player.
· Change management skills; ability to apply systems technology to meet business needs and objectives
· Minimum of six months experience as an Associate Programmer or equivalent experience. Exceeds expectations of an associate programmer with demonstrated proficiency in coding and understanding of ASH.
