Programmer/Systems Analyst (1376)
Location: Lewisburg, TN 37091
Description
- Modifying existing programs, includes problem or need analysis, getting customer or user requirements, and programming.
- Creating new programs, including need analysis, getting customer or user requirements, and programming.
- Providing PC and technical support including application support and hardware support/installation, resolving user issues or questions with the programs.
- Creating new PC applications and modifying existing applications includes problem or need analysis, getting user requirements and programming.
- Intranet/Internet website maintenance includes modifying or adding to existing websites.
- Supplier website support--includes handling supplier issues or questions with the Internet website.
- System application programming, support and backups.
- Manage the flow of electronic data between CKNA and our customers and suppliers in order to plan, build and ship parts, and to receive and make payments.
- Determine, develop, and maintain user manuals and system documentation.
- Provide 24/7 support (including after hours on-call support) for all CKNA employees using scanning and bar coding systems, resolving and revising them as applications as required.
- Other related I.T. duties, including, but not limited to, research and development, evaluating new software, troubleshooting PC and printer problems and ordering supplies for printers.
- Communicates frequently with internal contacts and occasionally with external contacts on various issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Under general supervision, this position will analyze, design, write, test and implement program applications to enhance system capabilities on all platforms including the intranet and Internet websites and user, customer and supplier support. This includes configuring, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.

Required Experience
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and generally two to five years experience in related field
-or- A Master’s Degree and two to four years experience in related field.
- Certification may be required in some areas.
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative, problem-solving, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
- Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.
