Programming Analysis Lead - Alarm Management

The Programmer Analyst will support the Alarm Management application in the Southern California Region. Includes development and production support responsibilities with an ongoing remediation effort across multiple Medical Centers. Development work includes creating new programs/applications to support a business need; project-based processes involving all aspects of the project life cycle from inception to implementation, conducted internally or through a vendor-supported program/applications; and ongoing maintenance of the program/application. Production support work focuses on maintaining and/or supporting existing programs/systems centered on enhancements to the existing application/system, and responding to user/client problems and issues with the application/system. Essential Functions: - Maintain a national clinical application environment - Coordinate and implement the configuration of medical center servers with the Emergin application - Ensure systems remain live and perform routine maintenance to avert events - Train clinical staff on system administration functions - Establish positive working relations with vendors toensure vendor's platform and RD are influenced to fit KP needs - Assist the deployment teams and provide assistance as needed Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - 6or more years of experience with Microsoft Server 2003 (or later) environment. - 3 or more years experience with direct responsibility forhandling a heavy workload ofclient server application support. - Exceptional application analysis and design skills, as well as thorough trouble-shooting capabilities. - Be willing to Travel throughout theSouthern California area as needed - Be available for an on call rotation basis, this includes weekends and holidays - Backup and/or restore application Registry files - Good written and oral communication skills (documentation creation is involved) - Proficient at remote control access for systems to run diagnostics or perform configurations Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with client server application support in a clinical setting. - KP experience - Tivoli experience - Web App familiarity - Biomedical system experience especially with Nursing Alarm Mgmt systems - Facilitate OS database upgrades - Emergin Experience - SharePoint Experience
