Responsibilities:
The incumbent will provide administrative and programmatic support to the Population Research and Cancer Disparities Program, specifically to the Asian American Network for Cancer Research and Training (AANCART) and the Liver Cancer Control Interventions for Asian Americans Program Project. The incumbent will provide expense reports for all subcontractor activity; coordinate meeting and travel arrangements; prepare reports and meeting minutes; and perform maintenance of the program databases and website. Additional responsibilities will include pre- and post-award grant/contract management and coordination of the submission of large multidisciplinary grant proposals.

Requirements:
Previous or current work experience with Asian American community based organizations. Bilingual Asian language skills and experience (Chinese, Korean, Hmong, Tagalog, or Vietnamese and with an understanding of one or more Asian cultures preferred). Editing and proofreading experience. Excellent typing skills. Experience formatting technical, scientific, and medical documents and materials. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Experience recording messages accurately. Verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with PC, Windows, MS Word, Excel (or similar spreadsheet programs), PowerPoint, and Internet Browsers. Mathematical skills to perform calculations and accuracy checks. Knowledge of on-line scheduling, service and access requests, Lotus Notes, and calendaring systems. Working knowledge and experience with MS Office XP or greater. Experience accurately recording meeting minutes in appropriate formats.
