Program/Project Management Advisor
Candidates must have IT Infastructure project management experience in an environment supporting a formal, documented Project/Program Management methodology (PMI, PRINCE II, etc.) including establishing uniform project processes, including IT Governance, and project performance standards. This individual is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and managing all aspects of both minor or complex projects and or local office moves. This includes tracking all major program components including costs, schedules, resources, deliverables etc. Healthcare domain experience is desired but not required.
- Interface with client personnel (including executive leadership)and the Project Management Office
- Project management including project planning, execution and shutdown, using Microsoft project and all other relevant detailed project documentation
- Issue escalation and resolution
- Project change management administration
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction by delivering strong project performance and predictable, repeatable project results
- Generate concise and accurate integrated account-level project status reporting
- Manage financial PL for projects including accurately forecasting costs, operating within established budgets and attaining financial objectives
- Perform project performance measurement and analysis
- Own necessary meetings and workshops (set agendas, facilitate meetings, and deliver minutes)
- Provide consistent project management tool utilization
Qualifications
- 5-10 years progressive experience with Project Management
- Proven track record of successful enterprise-level project management results
- Formal Project/Program Management methodology (PMI, PRINCE II, proprietary, etc.) experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Expert understanding and proficient use of industry standard project management tools - Microsoft Project, Project Server, Primavera, all Microsoft Office applications etc
- Experience working within both a project-centric and project matrix environments
- IT experience in the Healthcare domain
- Quality program experience such as ISO-9000, CMMI or Six Sigma implementation and assessments
- University degree or equivalent work experience
- PMP certification; PMI membership and participation
