Program/Project Manager

Tasks:

 Manages relationship with all project stakeholders (line management, business, business solution manager, Interface partners etc)

Coordinates regularly with the Business Project Lead concerning requirements, project plan and reporting

Organizes and leads the project team (i.e. plans and manages allocated resources, shapes priorities, coordinates interactions with customers and users and keeps the project team focused)

Ensures an efficient project governance – roles and responsibilities

Ensures project change management

Provides the project plan and updates it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.)

Schedules and manages the project according to the project management plan and ensures all relevant project deliveries during all phases

Establishes a set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project work products

Ensures all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews

Ensures provision of cost and effort estimations

Ensures software documentation is maintained

 

 Responsibilities:

 Is responsible to deliver the project on time, in the expected quality and within budget according to defined contracts

Is responsible for all necessary planning, controlling and reporting tasks within its project

Is responsible for risk management

Is responsible to provide the stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the status of committed project deliveries

Is responsible for adequate project documentation

Is responsible for evaluating the project team in order to support Line Managers in their employee evaluation

Ensures that the project follows SDLC principles/ standards

Complies with given standards and regulations

 

 Requirements

 5+ years managing software projects of medium to high complexity

PMP or Prince 2 certification mandatory

Experience with RUP methodology

Financial industry knowledge, especially with Wealth Management beneficial
