About our Client

Our client is an ASX listed company, and a major player in the mining and resources industry. Due to recent and ongoing growth within this industry, our client has expanded rapidly. They have a well established finance team and are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant.

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO your roles will include but will not be limited to:

• Preparation of both statutory reports and financial reports in accordance with accounting standards
• Assisting with the maintenance of the already present accounting systems, and possible analysis of the systems
• Ensuring that financial accounts comply with AIFRS
• Responsible for continuous improvements to the reporting process

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you must be CPA/CA/CIMA/ACCA qualified. Industry experience will be looked upon favorably but not essential. You should have a high level of interpersonal skills and be able to fit in with the well established team. The ability to build relationships and manage a small team is a must. Experience within an ASX Listed company is required.
