Project Accountant with Systems recruitment
Project Accountant required for a varied and 'hands on' six month project role, comprising of various sub projects relating to TA MI systems implementation across a multiple of retail units as well as a shared services central office.
The ability to work within our clients team is crucial as this role forms a part of a larger conversion/restructuring project and hence deadline are of the highest importance. As the company is in a transition phase the candidate will be required to perform all round accounting tasks and participate in finance tasks at all levels.
This is by no means a ‘walk in the park’ position but a great opportunity to gain experience of a Top Tiered systems implementation process with emphasis on financial requirements and controls and reporting
- Qualified accountant with at least 5 – 7 years PQE, preferably in a multi-site retail or shared services industries
- Previous IT / MI systems implementation essential
- Be an active voice in respect of process improvement/ implementation and system design
- Ability to perform complex accounting tasks around the General Ledger and Profit Loss
- A high level of computer literacy, including database spreadsheet tools skills
- Able to analyse volumes of data and translate into meaningful information
- Demonstrated expertise of working with non-financial managers
- Excellent communication skills
