Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income. Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy. Prepares balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports. May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions. Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures. Coordinates activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. DUTIES: Essential Functions: 1. Tracks and coordinates movement of products and personnel to and from project sites. 2. Prepares project reports for management, client, and others. 3. Tracks contract deliverables. 4. Tracks project cost centers. 5. Review PSRs, data, and reports to ensure proper coding. 6. Assign project string codes to the cash log. 7. Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies during mobilizations. 8. Reviews master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities, and revises schedule according to projects, work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment. 9. May maintain inventory of equipment, materials and parts needed to complete production. 10. May monitor delivery dates for parts orders. 11. Uses computer system to track schedule, work progress, and locate production units. 12. Responsible for receipt of hours of mobilized personnel. 13. Reviews account and project coding for payroll and operational purposes. 14. Prepares and tracks purchase orders and invoices. Batches sources of supply by purchase order. 15. Provides project accountability of costs vs. budget. 16. Tracks accounts receivable . KNOWLEDGE: Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts, and principles. MIN EDUCATION EXPERIENCE : 5+ years with AA 3 ? 5 years with BA 1 ? 3 years with MBA U.S. Citizenship required.
