Project Accounting Controller – Major Energy Company UAE recruitment
We are working with a major UAE Energy company who are undergoing a significant infrastructure investment programme are actively seeking a Project Accounting Controller to lead the Project Accounting team. The firm are one of the major players in the UAE energy market and are currently building a world-class Finance division. This position represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join a market leader at an exciting time in their growth.
In this position you will be leading the Project Accounting team, and managing a team of 12 (direct and indirect reports). You will align and execute the Project Accounting goals and objectives, and oversee the development of the Project Accounting policies, procedures and reporting.
You should have a strong background in project accounting experience, with extensive management and supervisory experience. It is also expected that you have a strong knowledge of ERP systems, with Oracle 12i preferable. You should have a degree in a business or financial discipline, and ideally also an MBA qualification. This is a senior position and the successful applicant will have strong strategic thinking skills and proven mature judgement for business challenges.
