Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is an integral part of the Boeing global organisation, employing approximately 1200 people at 13 sites around the country, primarily in support of high technology aerospace and communications systems for the Department of Defence.
We are currently seeking suitably qualified candidates for a "Project Administrator Controller" to work in our AATTS Program based at Oakey. This role will be on a temporary basis for an anticipated 3 month period.
This position will provide the AATTS Program measurement, monitoring and coordination of all Program reporting deliverables. In addition it will provide a mentoring role for the administration roles within AATTS.
To be successful in this role, you will have met the following criteria:
Essential Criteria

Defence ‘Restricted’ Security clearance or Australian citizenship to comply with Defence Industry requirements.

Minimum of two years demonstrated experience working in managerial support roles.

Sound understanding of the reporting requirements of the business and an operating knowledge of the BDA Matrix environment.

The ability to work independently and a strong focus on attention to detail with the skills to produce a flawless product that requires minimal management intervention to release.

Experience in MS Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.

Excellent Communications skill at all levels.

Should be dynamic, with positive energy, and highly motivated. Should be a “self starter” who “finds a way” in accomplishing tasks at hand.

Demonstrated ability to effectively time manage, prioritise work schedules and achieve deadlines.

Strong conceptual and Analytical skills.

Formal qualifications in project management that meets minimum requirements of National Competency Standard for Project Managers Level 4 or ability to obtain within 12 months of appointment.
Desirable Criteria

Suitable Defence Industry experience.

Knowledge of Project Management principles.

Experience in Earned Value Performance Management.

MS Project experience.
-
Experience with business systems (Compass Contract / eMatrix).

Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis and techniques appropriate for measuring business performance.
