Project Administrator/Administrative Assistant Job in Mississauga L5n6s2, Ontario Canada
Romag Contracting Ltd. is a general contractor located in Mississauga, specializing in the Water and Wastewater Treatment projects with projects up to 50 million dollars
We are currently hiring for the following position: Project Administrator/AP Clerk
Responsibilities:
· Enter Purchase orders, subcontractors’ invoices, expense reports, credit card charges and all required information into the computer accounting system.
· Match purchase orders to invoices and liaise with sites and management to ensure appropriate approvals are in place.
· Manage the A/P and several other basic accounting responsibilities
· Maintain updated contact list of trade partners, supplier, and vendor contact information
· Process and file documents issued by consultants’ engineers and re-distributing them to the appropriate trades.
· Become familiar with and implement standard company filing system in soft and hard copies, maintain record keeping, faxing and communication procedures.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· College degree or certification preferably in Business
· Three to five years experience in the construction industry.
· Experience with Quickbooks and/or Jonas is considered an asset.
· Communicates clearly, accurately, and consistently both verbally and in written matters. Employs the principles of active listening and encourages feedback from others.
· The successful candidate will be experienced with computers (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
· Excellent Phone mannerism, punctuality, reliability and ability to multi- task.
