Project Analyst

Job Title: Project Analyst
Location: Edinburgh
Contract length: 6 months
Contract rate: £225 per day

Role Purpose:
The Project Analyst will support their assigned Project Manager (Delivery Lead) with responsibility for multiple Risk work streams driving the implementation of the new Risk Target Operating Model, providing input and expertise as required.

The objective of the new model will be to improve the quality of Risk Management through 'Leaned' efficient Risk processes, professionalisation of resource and a culture of proactive Risk awareness in the Business

You will:
· Work as an integral part of a small project team on the Risk Target Operating Model (TOM), undertaking analysis and supporting the Project Manager.
· Work with key stakeholders, and Subject Manager Experts, gathering information, understanding issues and identifying opportunities. Collaborative proactive stakeholder engagement will be a key feature of the role.
· Flexible in approach, with ability to adapt to an evolving, fast moving environment
· Ability to lead a stream of work
· Research, evaluate and provide options and recommendations to support the delivery of effective and sustainable change across the Risk community.
· Ability to work independently but also as part of a team when required
· Deputise on occasion for the Project Manager, taking lead if required in governance forums, workshops etc
· Produce documentation both as an output from meetings, but also as key directional documentation as input to working groups.
· Provide risk, issue and project assurance across the assigned Risk work streams, providing input to governance reports as required
· Build and manage plans for activity within the work streams

· Financial services experience preferred.
