Description:
Performs financial analysis, escalation of issues, reporting functions, and collects on accounts receivable for a project based organization. Provides a direct communication link from sales and delivery teams to the corporate team. Handles all project invoicing and accounts receivable.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Requires an intermediate understanding of the business’s operations and the ability to perform financial analysis of all types for assigned projects. Must possess good problem solving skills. Demonstrates good judgment regarding what issues to escalate, when to escalate them and to whom. Also, demonstrates the ability to improve, innovate and work with minimal direction. Position is also responsible for preparing financial reports for management, which will be used as analytical tools by the end users. This position also is heavily involved in ad-hoc reporting and analysis as determined by the end users. This position also is responsible for budget preparation and analysis. This includes preparing the budget, entering the budget into the system, and analyzing the budget against the forecast and operational objectives of the company.
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must deal confidently and effectively with sales and delivery personnel. Must develop and demonstrate increasing leadership as they gain knowledge and experience within the position, particularly when new Project Analysts join the team. Provide guidance to field support personnel, where applicable. Position ensures accurate project analysis, effective reporting, and appropriate issue resolution.
Job Requirements:
Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Economics or equivalent job experience.
Microsoft Excel Knowledge
