Individually, or as part of a team, responsible for project planning and statusing, risk management, and issue resolution. Duties may include: assembling project documentation, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project, communicating project status and issues to team and management, acting to reduce risk and resolve issues. Coordinates with other projects and work groups.

• Independently oversees a small to medium scale projects or phases of a larger project.
• Coordinates activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
• Responsible for effectively coordinating the activities of the team, escalating issues as necessary when timelines or quality are in jeopardy.
• Creates project and process documentation, including process maps, desk top procedures, risks/controls matrices, and status reports.
• Regularly facilitates status and milestone meetings with cross functional groups.
• Familiar with business functions a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in accounting/finance or project management
• 2-5 years related project experience
• MS Office Software skills, including MS Visio and MS Project
• Analytical review skills
• Experience with Sharepoint strongly desired
• Strong project planning skills
• Experience identifying and documenting process risks and controls, SOX documentation experience a plus
• Experience facilitating meetings with cross functional team members
• Presentation skills
• Experience in technical writing a plus
• Experience managing projects with complex inter-dependencies

• Verbal communication skills sufficient to explain business needs to technical personnel and technical information to users
• Written communication skills sufficient to create project plans, training materials and other project documentation
• Travel may be required: 10-25%
