Role
This role requires the ability to functionally decompose a requirement and produce a structured specification that takes account of the complex technical architecture of the FX trading platform. Previous experience of working on large scale implementations within the investment banking industry would be highly desirable. The ability to produce requirements that are clear, unambiguous and singular statements is mandatory, and therefore having a fulfilled structured training would be ideal, e.g. an engineering, computer science or business degree, followed by formal industry based training and experience. Exposure to FX is desirable but not a pre-requisite.
Responsibilities
• To produce high quality functional and technical specifications on which development and testing may be based.
• Document and update current system processes and workflows
• Be a bridge between the business and technology teams
• Work with development teams to determine technical options, risk and impacts and present in an effective manner to business and IT programme management
• To resolve queries from development and test with respect to required functionality.
• To assist with functional approval of deliverables and prioritizing functionality.
• Help create Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance to organisational and programme standards, policies and guidelines
