The position is part of the Business Excellence and Corporate Strategy Projects (BCP) group. BCP is accountable for leading and guiding implementation of Alcoa's three strategic priorities, as defined by the CEO and the Executive Council, to drive profitable growth at Alcoa. To effectively complete its mission, BCP: Creates insights into Alcoa s businesses, markets, competitors, and customers through fact-based analysis Develops actionable solutions to key strategic questions by working closely with Alcoa business units (BUs) and corporate resource units (RUs) Proactively identifies core business issues and priorities that help inform and shape the senior leadership dialog across Alcoa Our consultants develop an in-depth understanding of Alcoa Groups BUs and frequently interact with and present to top executives. BCP also regularly provides consultants with advanced training in leadership, communication, and project management. BCP Consultants are similar to consultants or associates in a strategy consulting firm and work closely with internal Alcoa clients on teams led by BCP Project Managers. Key responsibilities include: Guiding, coaching and collaborating with BU/RU team members to answer key strategic questions Building lasting relationships within all levels of the BCP team and the corporation Performing primary and secondary market research Conducting interviews and leading group sessions Synthesizing business insights derived from analysis into clear and concise recommendations for business leaders You must possess: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment The ability to draw key insights from complex and ambiguous business challenges A natural curiosity and ability to learn quickly Strong interpersonal and communication skills A drive to build a high performance work environment A strong team orientation A passion for leading positive change throughout the organization Basic Qualifications * Bachelor s degree * 3-5 years of business experience Preferred Qualifications * MBA * with minimum of one year business experience
