Project Control Analyst III (Job Number:301309) Description: SAICs Cyber and Information Solutions Business Unit (CISBU), is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Project Control Analyst III opportunity. Description The Project Control Analyst III will participate in the financial planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of large prime program. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Coordinating, developing, and presenting the projects financial status to both internal and external customers Interfacing with the project manager, contract management staff, project accountants, senior technical personnel, and other functional organizations Implementing financial policies and procedures in support of assigned project Developing and maintaining both revenue recognition and management Estimates At Completion (EACs) Preparing internal and external reports on the financial status of assigned programs Reviewing invoices, monitoring unbilled balances, and ensuring necessary corrections to the general ledger are completed Preparing presentation of financial status and performance in internal quarterly In Process Reviews (IPRs) Participating in the management of subcontractor financials, including the preparation of purchase requisitions, processing of invoices, and preparation of accruals Participating in task proposals, assisting with development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Technical Task Orders (TTOs) Adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley and other Corporate and Business Unit (BU) financial policies and procedures Assisting with risk analysis and mitigation activities Qualifications: Required Skills Abilities Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or other related discipline or equivalent work experience 5 years of previous experience as a Project Control Analyst or related function Basic understanding of multiple contract types: primarily CPAF, but also FFP, FPLOE, TM, CPFF, and hybrid contracts Previous experience with the collection, organization, and interpretation of data, statistics, algebra, and accounting/finance components Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint - Active TS/SCI clearance Desired Experience with Hyperion, Deltek CostPoint, Cognos, Microsoft Project, COBRA, or other program management software helpful Proficiency with Costpoint, Cognos, or Hyperion/EPM Previous experience with government contracting companies SAIC Overview:
