About the Job
- Attend monthly meetings held by Project functions provide financial advice/oversight as required.
- Post monthly accruals validate cost accuracy for month end processes.
- Set up work breakdown structure (WBS) on SAP for new projects to enable analysis of capital costs.
- Prepare inputs/statistical data for SPVs for submission into group reporting tools.
- Manage Cash Call process from investors.Monitor cash flow actuals provide detailed information to investors.
- Advise Development/ Projects functions on accounting/tax (with support fromUKtax team) implications as appropriate.
- Collate /challenge data assumptions for input into annual business plan/1/4ly forecasts submit to Planning function.
- Review results comparing actuals with forecast budgeted figures
- Produce KPI of projects for submission into Quarterly Review process.
- Identify report to finance management team project risks, evaluating probability, impact policy for mitigating.
- Review position to ensure foreign currency risk is adequately hedged. Place/amend hedges appropriately
- Review contracts placed by project team reconcile.
- Understands investment appraisal methodology.
- Understands financial statements/accounting principles, ideally a qualified accountant.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with both finance /non-finance colleagues.
- Ability to present financial info using appropriate media to senior management.
- Knowledge of SAP (experience of SAP PS and work based structures preferred).
- Analytical detail conscious.
- Ability to challenge work of others in an effective but sensitive manner.
- Excel required. Ability to use intermediate to advanced techniques.
