Job Description:
· Preparing cost estimates, analyzing and forecasting project costs.
· Developing, collecting and preparing project plans and schedules.
· Establishing project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and allocating budgets at appropriate WBS levels for project tasks.
· Ensuring project tasks are identified and resource requirements estimated.
· Establishing, tracking and analyzing resource plans and associated expenditure.
· Creating, assembling and managing detailed project information related to project development, engineering, procurement and construction.
· Assembling project performance baselines including cost, schedule, quality and EHS.
· Project Change Management including project scope changes and change order requests
· Reporting project status to management for internal reviews as well as analyzing project variances and recommending corrective actions.
· Working effectively with other project functions
· Multiple locations are available in Western Canada.
Minimum Requirements:
· Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma and 5 years minimum work experience in industrial project services including cost estimating, cost control, scheduling, change management and project reporting.
· Trades certification or high school diploma and 10 years minimum work experience in industrial project services including cost estimating, cost control, scheduling, change management and project reporting.
· Excellent analytical and communications skills
· Work experience as an estimator, scheduler, planner, cost control and project control.
· Ability to work at an advanced level with all Microsoft Office applications and industry programs such as Primavera.
· Leadership experience is considered an asset and should be detailed.
