Project Controls Manager

We are seeking a Project Controls Manager to support our Federal environmental and construction projects The job is located in our Walnut Creek, CA corporate office.
Responsibilities:
- Assign new projects to department personnel and monitor initial project deliverables to ensure deadlines are met with high quality content.
- Provide ongoing mentoring/training to department staff; provide troubleshooting support to staff for project-related issues i.e. cost and schedule reporting.
- Work with Senior PC department staff in developing more efficient processes and upgrading standards and reports where necessary.
- Facilitate monthly Project Status Reviews with Business Unit and Regional Managers. Ensure current PSR data is posted monthly for all active projects.
- Monitor project data and assist Project teams to help identify, analyze, and document change conditions.
- Work with senior PC department staff to establish SOPs and "center of excellence" peer-group responsible for reviewing baselines and ensuring best practice implementation all regions and business units.
- Provide support to corporate finance managers in revenue projections and facilitate data compilation of same.
Requirements:
- 5+ years Project Controls experience for US federal government clients
- Proficient in CPM scheduling principles and change management
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess construction/environmental engineering/relevant industry experience. Knowledge of federal government reporting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EVM principles
