Kleinfelder’s San Diego office has an exciting opportunity for a Program Controls Manager for our major federal projects working as a part of our growing environmental practice.  This position is located in Downtown San Diego for ideal team and client interaction. This position will be part of a program controls group that supports key contracts and other long-term and important clients globally.

The vital responsibilities associated with this position will play a leadership role in contract management, including project scheduling, earned value management, analysis and reporting, support on task order cost estimating, project cost tracking and reporting, training of project managers, maintenance of cloud-based project schedule and budget records. 

This position is a leadership position through our project management career track and the ideal candidate will have 10+ years of related experience, 12+ years preferred of directly relevant experience including project controls experience with Primavera, exemplary written and oral communication skills, knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (including federal acquisition regulations), and formal project management training or a well-developed knowledge of project management principles, required. 

A bachelor’s  degree is required with graduate degree or professional certification preferred. Extensive large federal contract experience is required. This is an exciting opportunity and we look forward to a new leader joining the southern California team.
