You will be part of the AC RD organisation in Danfoss. Your primary focus will be managing cross functional resource planning, outsourcing partners and performance reporting in RD and product development projects. The job is based in either Kolding or Nordborg.

 

Prepare and maintain resource plans and support portfolio planning

Your mission is to prepare and maintain resource plans for product development activities across functions in AC, in close cooperation with both project and line managers. You support portfolio planning and ensure balance in activities and resources. With high focus on adding value to customers, you vouch for implementing and following the Danfoss Product Development Program guidelines. You maintain a global overview of outsourcing activities in product development and control our outsourcing partner’s cost, time and performance. Among other key tasks are:

 

•                    Facilitate project teams in use of basic project management tools

•                    Develop and track KPIs in RD and product development projects

•                    Track overall project performance in RD and projects in order to utilise learning in portfolio and project planning

•                    Communicate/follow-up on progress, deviations and deliveries with outsourcing partners

 

Due to the global scope of this job, you can look forward to approx. 10 days travel/year as you will be working with colleagues from China and our outsourcing partners in India.

 

Team player with strong planning and follow-up skills

You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within planning and performance management, which you have combined with a relevant degree. You have the tools to drive resource planning and performance management across an organisation, and due to your strong drive you know exactly how to focus your efforts. You are a skilled user of Microsoft Excel and/or Project. You have the skills to communicate your agenda in a clear language and are known for your ability to work cross-organisationally with colleagues as well as external stakeholders. With your energy and drive for performance, you thrive on giving that bit of extra to secure the successful outcome. Last but not least you master English fluently both in writing and speech.
