We are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator for one of our valued clients in Northland area. This position is to provide and/or coordinate the delivery of legal services to the organization in a necessary/appropriate areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programs and projects designed to ensure the organization’s continued compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports

Assist in securing, scheduling, and leveling resources required to implement the project plan

Ensure all groups are aware of project scope and their responsibility for delivering projects and milestones

Effectively communicate and align expectations within and across teams, including clients
Provide project leadership, work direction and feedback. Influence the work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met and issues and risks are communicated;

Collection and reporting of project metrics and status to executives, business partners and all other key stakeholders. Manage, track and report on the status of legal and commercial issues from other departments to ensure these issues and projects are resolved in timely fashion

Coordinate corporate compliance policies, records management, and corporate governance matters for the company and its subsidiaries and affiliates

Create detailed legal and management reports, analyses and presentations by using computer programs (Word, PowerPoint Excel) to create charts, graphs and slides as needed

Prepare routine and confidential letters from rough draft or written notes ensuring accurate grammar, spelling and business formats

Present information to, and respond to questions from, employees, customers, members and the public

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required;
Minimum of 5 years experience in efficient project management.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, customers, members and the public;

Ability to work in a team oriented environment, as well as, work independently with minimum supervision;

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Excellent analytical problem solving skills;

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information;

Ability to effectively influence, interact and collaborate with senior level management;

Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to influence actions/decisions of others;

Strong project management skills. Ability to prioritize and be responsible for multiple projects/deadlines concurrently.
