JOB SUMMARY:

Job Title: Project Coordinator
Department: Performance Improvement
Reports To: Assistant Vice President, Project Management

Position Summary:

The position will be responsible for effective communication with various departments and their peer group to coordinate tasks using MS Office software and MS Projects. Will also support departmental manager with scheduling, preparation of presentations and misc admin duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effectively coordinate projects by ensuring clear ownership of tasks with apprpropriate deadlines with clear communications regarding the initiative objectives. Keeps the project focused in terms of scope and deliverable management and meeting set timelines. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Create and execute project timelines, and other required project documentation, designed to meet stated goals using departmentally established project management tools and principles. Create and maintain all required project documentation.
• Facilitate meetings and conference calls with project participants acting in a consultative capacity. Build and develop business relationships vital to the success of the project.
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing. This includes written and verbal status reports at both a team level and a Senior Management Level, as well as, other communications necessary to keep stakeholders informed

Education Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Technical Skills:

Basic MS Project, MS Powerpoint and MS Visio. Intermediate MS Word and MS Excel.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit and key. The employee will be required to frequently walk.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works indoors.

Additional Information:

Provide expertise and support to sponsors, management and team members regarding project management processes, tools and techniques. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems as project issues arise. Must be comfortable and able to manage and motivate personnel in a matrix organization, working with employees at all levels within the organization.

Conditions of Employment: Employee must pass pre-employment screening which includes a background check and drug testing. Employee must present documentation to verify minimum of high school educational requirement.
