Works with system departments, high-level site administration and site support. * Works with application development, site administration or remote site support, utilizes technical knowledge to assess client's system needs and determines the hardware and technical logistics required to facilitate those needs. Works with individual application teams to gain a general understanding of applications. Working with project sponsors, conducts interviews to develop objective and scope of projects. * Plans and establishes procedures of the installation or implementation. Establishes detailed work plans, cost estimates and timetables to facilitate the project installation based on previously established practices. Monitors performance against those estimates. Uses project coordination skills to ensure that installations are completed within established budgets and deadlines. * Works with technical staff, project analysts and site team or regional management to place orders, contact vendors and assist in scheduling deployment/development team using estimates and knowledge of delivery lead time to set the appropriate deadlines and complete the stages of the work plan most efficiently. * Conducts project meetings and provides status reports to clients, Information Services management, and site team to keep them informed throughout the entire project cycle. Monitors project, progress and provides focal point to all parties to keep overall installation within established timeframe. * Provides interpretation and recommendation for project team staffing changes. * Establishes and maintains effective and continuous communication with the client, vendors, site team or regional management staff to facilitate problem solving and successful system installation. * Guides, advises and acts as resource to other project team members regarding departmental methodologies.
